From an European point of view, we can play like this: In a galaxy far far away, Hillary was really generous and brilliant and she wanted to carry on the “export of democracy” outside US thanks the Saudi Arabia Princes free financial support. Very Far, Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Libya and Ukraine and other Mediterranean people still thank for that. On the other hand, Trump is so greedy and alone, sour poor rich devil, and he wants to keep, in a frame of splendid isolationism, the US privileges and guns within the US limes and build a wall, which can serve to not disperse the shells of bullets used by the police against Mexicans and Afro-Americans.
In this saddening picture, it can be disheartening to see people who rejoices or grieves because “the American people have (apparently) relied on their own decisions.” I think this is a fundamental point, but it is very difficult to understand, because the language that most people use to talking is dichotomous: that provides the ability to choose only between two preset and atrophied options, excluding any thought that by understanding the ‘uselessness’ of both, moving in search of a third or fourth way.
You’re either right or you are left. Or you are pro-immigration or racist. Either you’re for Hillary or for Trump.
Very few understand how it actually works the thought of who can plan the structure to shape to the world: most people just want to have a team to support and, at the moment, playing and wildly honking in case of victory. I can imagine what instincts can force one into this binary prison of thought. So better to clarify what happened.
Then: the people do not decide and do not count for anything. If you ever begin or return to count for something, it will certainly not be through “democratic” tools such as the referendum or elections, which exist solely for the purpose of keeping it in the absolute impotence (This is the common feeling today!).
Democracy is not the solution: it becomes the problem. It ‘a set of regulatory constraints and ritual, imposed to the multitude through legislation and propaganda, which have a dual function: the first, and less important, is to keep under control the masses, giving them a power that they believe sovereign, but which in reality is purely liturgical, exact negation of any real power on the political, internal or – even more – international;
The second and most important, is to act as a composition tool of conflict between power groups, other than open warfare: using the tools of so-called “democracy”, the power groups have in their hands a means very versatile to push the masses against adverse groups, to blackmail, threaten them, warn them, or, in many cases, all to reach the conclusion of a truce. Democracy is the structure through which ordinary people become the weapon that each tip elite against elite opponents.
Democracy institutionalized and formalized, making it permanent, the role of “cannon fodder”, already covered successfully by the rabble in countless wars and revolutions. No sane mind multitude of encounters, of his own accord, to the bars of a “democracy”. To impose it is in fact necessary deception, an act of force, or more often a real war, with massacres, destruction, indiscriminate bombings on the population.
If one understand this concept, one maybe able to frame in a more realistic perspective of the story of the American democracy.
Where are you Bernie? You said that but they did not listen to you at all
